Keyboard shortcuts

Move through mail from the keyboard. Defaults below are the current first-party bindings. Settings → Shortcuts is the live list. Some chords exist only on the macOS menu bar.

Mail shortcuts pause while you type in a field, or while a dialog is open. Command chords in the window stay with the menu. Tab stays inside Settings, the command palette, Move, and compose.

⌘0 is Actual Size (zoom reset), not All Inboxes. There are no account-jump defaults on ⌘6 through ⌘9.

You can remap the listed mail and composer letters (next and previous, open, reply, forward, pin, snooze, compose, and similar).

The recorder will not accept a Command chord, a modifier key alone, or a reserved arrow key. Fetch, folder jumps, print, send, and several menu-only items stay with the menu.

Menu-only chords such as Settings ⌘, and New Message ⌘N appear as a static section.

Not every on-screen control has a key.
