Change a mailbox address
Primail does not currently sign devices into a Primail Cloud identity. Settings → Primail Account → Change email is not a control. There is no confirmation-code transfer of a sync identity and no hashed-email routing table you can update.
If you meant a connected mailbox
Section titled “If you meant a connected mailbox”To stop using one address and use another:
- Add the new account.
- Move or finish any local drafts you still need (they will not follow a removal).
- Remove the old account.
Signatures, display name, and role on the new account start fresh on this device.
To change only the display name on an existing mailbox:
Settings → Accounts → the account → Sender’s name, or
primail account settings-update ACCOUNT_ID --display-name "…".
To rotate the provider password, change it at the host, then
use the auth-failure banner or
primail account password-update ACCOUNT_ID. See

Recovery mail
Section titled “Recovery mail”There is no Primail recovery-link address and no 24-hour cooldown banner. Provider-account recovery is whatever Google, Microsoft, iCloud, or your host documents.
